What a first week back!

We have been very busy for our first week back. We have been focusing on our adventure story and we have completed a mystery box write about diving giraffes.

We have been looking at fractions in Maths and how we simplify fractions. In Science, we have been looking at micro-organisms.

Please keep reading every night and make sure your are playing on TT Rockstars. Spellings have gone out and will be tested on Fridays.

Well done to Ann-Marie who was star of the week.

Also, don't forget its bikeability next week.

Space Day December 2019

We were so lucky in Year 6 to have two visitors from the UK Space Agency. They talked to us about the brilliant stuff that the Space Agency do and we also learnt lots of random and interesting facts about Space and Space Travel. We were even given the chance to dress up if we wanted to. Check out our pictures.

Welcome back !

Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful and restful Christmas and New Year. I cannot believe it is 2020 already and this is the year you leave Primary School.

Our Topic this term is called Disaster which is very fitting considering what has been recently going on in the world with New Zealand and it's volcanic eruption and the dreadful fires in Australia. An interesting article you might want to read about the New Zealand Volcanic eruption in early December.

Happy New Year again.
